The next 5000 days

Did you know that the internet is only about 5,000 days old?

Kevin Kelly, over at TedTalks, gave a presentation in 2007 that talks about what the internet is becoming and where we are heading. It's a bit disturbing at times, but I have a feeling he is exactly right.

Here's his summation:

There is only One machine.
The web is its OS. (operating system)
All screens look into the One.
No bits will live outside the web.
To Share is to gain.
Let the One read it.

Find out what it's all about here.
