Los Angeles Children's Chorus premieres opera

Another opera has joined Noye's Fludde as an opera specifically for children performers.
Capping its 21st Season with the largest production ever staged and produced by a children's chorus, Los Angeles Children's Chorus (LACC) presents the world premiere of Keepers of the Night, an original opera by composer Peter Ash and librettist Donald Sturrock.

65 LACC choristers ranging from 8 to 18 years old, sing both prominent solo and choral parts. Keepers of the Night was commissioned by LACC.
