The Federal Communications Commission has officially ruled that Comcast (and by extension, all Internet service providers) can't discriminate against different message types when transporting Internet traffic. While this could be challenged in court or overturned by Congress, for now it represents a victory for Net Neutrality advocates.
As I described earlier, this decision stems from a complaint started by a user who wanted to share his barbershop quartet recordings via BitTorrent.
