Pastor grabs elder around the neck . . . where was the choir director?

OK, so it's not choir news, but it is Friday. Most choral musicians are (or have been) (or will be) church musicians and you might take a slightly perverse joy in this news story from Tallahassee.
An organizational meeting between divided members of St. Mary Primitive Baptist Church became heated today and ended up with the arrest of the church's pastor.

At one point during the meeting, a Primitive Baptist Church leader was addressing the crowd at the microphone when Broadenax reportedly walked up and grabbed the elder around the neck in an attempt to remove the microphone.
Although it's not reported in the story, I'm betting that the music director was either:

1. Fleeing the violence and running for the hills.
2. Taking a few shots at the pastor in all the confusion.
3. Busy in rehearsal and missed the whole event.
