The Most Important Thing

Seven years ago, young high school junior Breanne Lucka asked the following:

What, in your opinion, is the single MOST IMPORTANT thing that a choir director MUST remember or do in order to be successful?

There were many responses and opinions--it looks like quite a few more people were more verbal in answering questions to the list back then . . . or perhaps this one question just caught everyone's fancy. At any rate, the advice given to Breanne was plentiful.

I wonder . . . where is Breanne now?

Does she still plan on being a choral director, or has life given her another mission?

Check out the answers to her question.

Curiosity got the best of me, so, after reading all of the wonderful comments (which, I recommend EVERY choral director should reread!), I did an internet search, and I have sort of an answer.

It appears, that as of 2005, she was a music ed major at Millikin University. She did go on!
